Faith Gartney's Girlhood

Faith Gartney's Girlhood is a juvenile fiction story for girls written by Adeline Dutton Train Whitney, an American poet and prolific writer, who published more than 20 books for girls. Her books expressed a traditional view of women's roles and were popular throughout her life. Her first venture was a Book of Rhymes. She is also the author of The Gayworthy's, A Summer in Leslie Goldthwaite's Life, Footsteps on the Seas, etc.
