Aunt Judy's Tales is a collection short stories for children written by Margaret Gatty, an English children's author and writer on marine biology. Some of her writings argue against Charles Darwin's Origin of Species. All told by 'an elder girl' in a large family to the 8 little ones gathered around. "There is not a more charming sight in the domestic world, than that of an elder girl in a large family, amusing what are called the little ones.
